Founded in 1984 after the death of R.P. Maxime Le Grelle, it aims to promote the Brouage church as a place of memory of the origins of the new France and a place of pilgrimage for all Canadians and their friends.

Looking forward, the Committee wishes to develop friendship and cultural relations with North America in order to maintain "Francity" there.
We welcome any new member who will show the same interests for the purposes of the Committee and be present at the quarterly meetings.
